Despite this news, and the police destruction of excavator equipment, the protestors still speak words of prayer over the "men and women in blue" before taking down this blockade.

Citizen Journalist (and racer) Marcel Irnie has also been broadcasting press releases from the organizers of the Freedom Convoy. This February 10 address by Tom Morazzo explains that he and others have been working with the City Officials to "relieve some of the pressures" on the people of Ottawa created by the vast presence of the convoy. He explains that their "issue" is with the Federal Government and that their peaceful presence is not meant to be political. Marazzo is an 18 year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and had worked as a construction engineer officer. He indicated that he speaks on behalf of a number of organizers who are all in Ottawa on behalf of the many Canadians grateful for their stance. The sooner the federal government agrees to drop all vaccine related mandates and a solid mechanism is in place to prevent such coercive measures from ever being implemented again, the sooner the convoy will disband.

For him, the "tipping point" was the list of unscientific proclamations for Quebec, re: curfews, mandatory 3rd shots and revocation of the privileges of 2nd dose "immunity" at the same time as the recognition of natural immunity.
